Hermit Bay is in Sydney Harbour & has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Hermit Beach Vaucluse is located along the Hermitage Foreshore walk and is part of the Sydney Harbour National Park. When you come from the Rose Bay side, it’s the 2nd beach. The first will be Queens Beach.
Hermit Beach Vaucluse is a small inner Sydney Harbour beach with not a lot of beach. So it’s for the adventurous people, and those wanting to get away while still in Sydney.
Hermit Point has picnic tables not covered, A large home behind the point, built in 1840 by Alexander Dick, this is where the Hermitage Foreshore gets its name.
Hermit Bay Point has a grassy area and a seawall with a boat sheds and boat ramp lots a little tinnys here.
If you intend to stay a while, you may want to bring water (fluids), your lunch and a camera. Hermit Beach is a great spot, but there are no shops close by, so bring your own coffee.
You should wear good walking shoes if you want to walk to Nielsen Park and then you can get Uber or taxi back.
Over it’s all relaxing spot for you and that someone special.
