Come & discover Seven Schillings Beach Point Piper NSW 2027.
Seven Shillings Beach starts at the tip of the point and curves to the east-northeast for 390 m. It is located in Blackburn Cove on the eastern side of Double Bay and can be accessed via Blackburn Gardens off New South Head Road. The western half of the beach is located within Redleaf Pool (Fig. 4.231), a 100 m long tidal pool, with a walkway right around the pool and a smaller kiddies pool attached to the western side. The pool is backed by a seawall, walkway and terraced grassy slopes. The eastern half of the beach is 10 m wide and backed by a strip of grass, then a seawall-brick fence and beachfront houses, with a sign indicating the public can only used the beach in daylight hours below high water, as above high water is privately owned. Boats are moored off both beaches.
