Bradley Bushland Reserve is one of the must see places to visit if you love War history. It’s steeped in history with historical background plaques and old sandstone walls & remnants of the Guns set to protect Sydney Harbour from invaders. If that not your cup of tea, I’m sure you’ll be more than impressed with stunning views of Sydney Harbour. You’ll find impressive nature walking tracks, filled Wildflowers. Apart from the gunners, there’s toilet, seating and a couple of parking spots are their great views. Hike to the historical mast of H.M.A.S Sydney erected at Bradley’s Head. If you’re driving a 21 Seater, you may think about parking up the top and walking down, the round about down the bottom is very tight. Corbett Gardens in Bowral is the show piece of the Tulip Time Festival and dates back to 1911 when, at the suggestion of Mrs Ada Corbett, the local tourist association purchased Deadmans Paddock for a public park. Corbett Gardens, located in the centre of town, boasts a huge array of tulips and colourful springtime bulbs, shrubs and trees. Corbett Gardens in Bowral, one of the region’s oldest and most beautiful parks, is the centre piece of the Spring Garden Festival with over 75,000 massed tulips on display and 20,000 annuals. The Festival attracts over 39,000 people each year and is held at the end of September over two This garden is a public garden and managed by the local council. Entry to the garden is free of charge at most times, however, an entry fee applies during the Tulip Time Festival, which this year runs from Tuesday September 12 until Sunday September 24. It should be noted the garden will be closed for Tulip Time set up on Monday September 11.

Named after H.J. Greville an auditor of the Borough of Willoughby in the 1880s. The land was previously the site of a dairy started by Gladys Homer in the early 1930s. In the 1950s the land was subdivided and sold to Cumberland County Council. The land formed a boundary with the Army Rifle Range until its relocation in 1955. In 1960 the land was sold to Willoughby Municipal Council and named Greville Street Reserve. Willoughby City Council acknowledges the Cameraigal people as the traditional inhabitants of the area.

Rose Bay was named after The Right Honourable George Rose (he was not knighted) who was joint Secretary to the British Treasury with Thomas Steele, after whom Steel(e) Point at Nielsen Park was named. Moore Reserve is an open space area in the Oatley District comprising approximately 14 hectares bordering on the suburbs of Oatley and Hurstville Grove in Southern Sydney. The reserve is a former municipal garbage tip that has been converted into reclaimed grass fields with recreational facilities and an artificial wetland area.

Located between Ascot Street and Goodwood Street in Kensington, Kokoda Park is named in honour of those heroic soldiers who served and lost their lives on the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during World War II. The park has a large grassed area and features a memorial pathway leading to a monument. The path is a symbolic representation of the Kokoda Track. The park also includes a fenced junior playground. Grab a coffee from a café on nearby Anzac Parade and wind down in the tranquil environment.

A narrow, grassed reserve located alongside Dolphin Street. The main feature of the reserve is the Alby Smith Memorial playground which was upgraded in 2013 and features a flying fox. The Coogee Scout Hall and Coogee Community Garden is located further east on Dolphin Street towards Coogee Beach.
